Kids Programmes 2013

Netball South offers a wide range of programmes for kids of all ages.

Toddler Time (Friday 10 May - Friday 28 June) 10am - 10.45am

Netball Otago offers an introductory programme to large ball skills to kids under 5 years old. It is an opportunity for parents, grandparents or carers to join in the fun with their toddlers and to expose them to the skills of throwing, catching, rolling and other general large balls skills.  Supervision for all children is compulsory at all times.  Just turn up on the day, $2.50 entry to the Edgar Centre - No pre-registration required

Sunday Fun Ferns 1 (Sunday 19 May  to Sunday 7 July) 10am - 11am

This is a great opportunity to learn balls skills, minor games and outlines the basic rules of netball. Open to Year 1 to 3 boys and girls.

South Zone Junior Netball Academy

This programme is suitable for 8-15 year olds.  The curriculum is divided ito 8 levels with 3 modules in each level.  Each session has been developed to preogressively teach the skills appropriate to children of that age and ability level. Fast paced, interesting and fun for players that would like some extra coaching during the season. Open to anybody interested.

Term 1: (Monday 25 February to Monday 15 April)  4pm - 5:15pm

Term 2:

8 Year Olds - Friday, 4 - 5.15pm (17 May - 12 July)

All others - Monday, 5 - 6.15pm (13 May - 8 July)

Term 3:

8 Year Olds - Friday, 4 - 5.15pm (9 August - 27 September)

All others: Wednesday, 4 - 5.15pm (7 August - 25 September

School Holiday Programmes

Netball South run two holiday programmes throughout the year during the April and July school holidays over three days. It is a great opportunity to get a taste of the game of netball, meet new friends and have a lot of fun. Open to Year 4 to 8 boys and girls.

April Holiday Programme (Monday 22 April - Wed 24 April) 9am - 1pm  

July Holiday Programme (Monday 15 July - Wed 17 July) 9am - 1pm
