Kids Programmes 2010

Netball Otago offers a wide range of programmes for kids of all ages.

The programmes are listed below, with registration forms coming on line soon, once the dates have been confirmed:

Toddler Time (Friday 23 April - Friday 4 June)

Netball Otago plan to offer an introductory programme to large ball skills to kids under 5 years old. It is an opportunity for parents, grandparents or carers to join in the fun with their toddlers and to expose them to the skills of throwing, catching, rolling and other general large balls skills.  Supervision for all children is compulsory at all times.

Sunday Fun Ferns (Sunday 9 May to Sunday 27 June)

Opportunity to learn balls skills, minor games and outlines the basic rules of netball. Open to Year 1 to 3 boys and girls.

Future Ferns Programme (Monday 19 April - Monday 31 May)

Learn a variety of netball skills from some of our top Otago players

Open to Year 4 to 6 boys and girls.

School Holiday Programmes

Netball Otago run three holiday programmes throughout the year during the April, July and September school holidays over three days. It is a great opportunity to get a taste of the game of netball, meet new friends and have a lot of fun. Open to Year 4 to 8 boys and girls.

Junior Coaching Programmes (Wed 28 April - Wed 30 June)

With the success of last this year's academy programmes, Netball Otago is happy to offer the same programme this season.  Coached by current and former representative players; this programme provides players with an opportunity to receive expert coaching. Open to all Year 7 and 8 players, there will be NO trials for this programme.
